DERBY — Griffin Hospital’s Safe Kids Greater Naugatuck Valley Coalition recently received a $2,500 donation from Mutual Security Credit Union, of Shelton, to support health and wellness programs for Valley youth.

We are very thankful for this generous donation from the Mutual Security Credit Union,” said Cathi Kellett, Safe Kids Greater Naugatuck Valley Coalition Coordinator. It is with community partnerships like this that we are able to bring engaging interactive and educational programs to our local youth.”

Griffin Hospital’s Safe Kids Greater Naugatuck Valley Coalition educates children and adults on variety of health, wellness and safety programs to reduce unintentional injuries and death among children under the age of 17.
