Our team is very grateful and excited for the opportunity to observe the 2020 National Day of Prayer gathering in Ansonia with you!!

This is our 9th year, and what perfect timing for all of us to PRAY! This tradition goes way back!! In 1775 the Continental Congress allocated a time for prayer in forming a new nation. Over the years, there have been calls for a day of prayer, including from President Abraham Lincoln in 1863.

On April 17, 1952, President Harry Truman signed a bill proclaiming the National Day of Prayer into law in the United States. President Reagan amended the law in 1988, designating the first Thursday of May each year as the National Day of Prayer.

We invite the community to participate in this annual Judeo-Christian expression of the NDP”.

Everyone is welcome!!

There will be live songs of praise and worship to the Lord. With all of us joining as one body in Christ, we know it will be a powerful time of united prayer as we inquire of the Lord for a spirit of repentance, seeking His forgiveness, healing for our nation, and for a mighty awakening in our city, state, nation, and even globally!!

Pre-assigned individuals will lead in short prayers for the Government, Military, Church, Family, Education, Media, Business, and Israel. Your personal intentions are so very important and can be lifted up from the comfort of your own vehicle! There is no distance in the Spirit. Where two or three are gathered in His Name, He is there in their midst!!
