The Valley Indy won those and several other awards at the Connecticut Society Of Professional Journalists’ annual dinner Thursday.
In this podcast we discuss those stories, but first we talk about the late Ed Cotter Jr., a legendary Valley photojournalist and firefighter who was inducted into the SPJ’s Hall of Fame at the dinner.
The Valley Indy nominated Cotter for the honor and we’re very proud members of his family were at the banquet to accept it on his behalf. Listen as we talk about Cotter and the ways his impact on the Valley is felt to this day.
