The Valley Indy took summer vacation last week, so we begin this episode of “Navel Gazing” with one of the most boring vacation recaps human beings have ever recorded. But fear not, for we quickly pivot to a discussion of movies and TV shows that we’ve been watching recently.
Don’t expect us to be talking about all the latest blockbusters and new releases, though. Enough people do that already, and we like to delude ourselves into believing we’re all non-mainstream and cutting edge.

Then we run out of movies to discuss and delve into TV, and subsequently learn that Eugene doesn’t like True Blood and Ethan doesn’t like The Newsroom. But we still watch both compulsively.
