NEW PROGRAMS
The Children’s Dept of the Plumb Memorial Library, 65 Wooster Street, Shelton, will be offering series of new Story Times starting in January 2019.
Fun for Ages 4 & 5 Kids ages 4 and 5 are invited to join Mrs. Fritsch for a New Story Time series for older preschoolers. In order to encourage a sense of independence, children sit in a group to hear stories and then join their parents and caregivers to do a themed craft. This series lasts for 6 weeks and meets on Tuesday January 22, 29, February 5, 19 and 26 and March 5. Registration is required.
Toddler Times for 2 and 3 Yrs. Old Join Mrs. Fritsch for a New Story Time series geared to energetic children ages 2 – 3 and their parents and caregivers. There will be shared stories, finger games and musical activities and crafts. Parents and caregivers must remain with children during the program. This series lasts for 6 weeks and meets on Wednesday January 23, 30, February 6, 13, 20 and 27. Registration is required.
Babies and Books Story Time Bouncing beautiful tots ages 12 to 24 months and their parents and caregivers are invited to a New Lapsit program with stories, finger plays, songs and musical activities. This series last for 6 weeks and meets on Friday January 25, February 1, 8, 22, March 1 and March 8. Registration is required.
