Two looked like they were high school students.

They noticed smoke and the smoke alarms started going off,” Pelletier said. They called 911 and were advised to leave the residence. They met us in the front yard when we arrived.”

Assessor’s information state the 2,900 square-foot house is owned by Arthur and Leigh Venable.

As per Oxford Fire Department policy, a rapid intervention team was called from Seymour and additional tanker trucks were called from Beacon Falls and Seymour.
