The Board of Education has postponed tonight’s meeting at which an appointment was to be made of a new superintendent of schools.
The snowstorm expected for tonight was the reason for the postponement, said a spokesman for interim Superintendent James Connelly, who notified the news media at 1 p.m. Instead, the meeting will be conducted at the Oxford High School Media Center Thursday at 7 p.m.
Oxford has been without a superintendent since Judith Palmer left the district in August.
