OHS Booster Club to Host Health Fair

The Oxford High School Booster Club is hosting a health fair on Saturday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Oxford High School.

This community-wide event is free and open to the public with attendees of all age groups welcome to participate.

Interesting and informative, the fair will feature organizations and businesses involved with providing healthy care for people of all ages.

Motivational activities will include health and blood screenings, child safety — including the hugely popular New York Life Child ID program — seat belt safety, back care, exercise and healthy eating tips.

Below is a partial list of participants:

  • Lynette M. Goodart, New York Life Insurance Company Agent
  • Griffin Hospital
  • Oxford Ambulance Association
  • Oxford Police Department
  • Dr. Scott Rocchio, Southern CT Chiropractic
  • Mike Ziniak’s Martial Arts Academy

The Oxford High School is located at 61 Quaker Farms Road. Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to help fill the new food bank the Oxford Ambulance Association has created to support the Oxford community.
