One person is dead after a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a minivan, Oxford Patch is reporting.
The crash was reported on Route 67 near Southford Cemetery.
The victim’s name has not been released.
He is thought to be a Waterbury resident.
According to information attributed to Oxford Resident Trooper Sgt. Dan Semosky, a minivan pulled out onto Route 67 and was struck by the tractor-trailer. The minivan’s driver is dead.
Route 67 has been closed near the Southbury town line as cops investigate the crash.
One other person was sent to the hospital.
