A man was killed after crashing his car on Route 8 south, Shelton firefighters said.
The Audi the man was driving apparently went airborne, then struck some trees off the road. State police said the victim was Jose Deida of Bridgeport, according to WTNH.
The wreck may have been there for sometime overnight before being noticed around 6 a.m., firefighters said.
The car was found near the exit 13 off ramp.
