Oxford residents approved the sale of a 10-acre lot in the Woodruff Hill Industrial Park to the Claris Corp. for $350,000.
The land, once cleared by Claris, will be part of a $33 million project that will see a new hangar built at Oxford airport.
There were a few naysayers and only Richard Burke, a Republican Board of Finance member, voted against the project. (Update: Selectman David Yish also voted against the proposal). A few Republicans who also expressed opposition to the sale left the meeting before the vote when it became clear that the project would be approved, Oxford Patch reported.
