Oxford High School Athletic Director Glenn Lungarini met with 13 parents Thursday to talk to them about a locker room shouting match between two football coaches, Oxford Patch reported.
The argument, which occurred immediately after an Oxford football game, resulted in 10-day suspension for both men.
The confrontation was between assistant coaches Carl Paternoster and Gerard Carbonaro. Carbonaro is running as a Republican for the Oxford Board of Education.
Lungarini called the incident a “teachable moment” for students.
