Oxford Budget Vote Tuesday

Oxford voters head to the polls Tuesday to vote on a town and school budget.

It is the second referendum of the budget season. Voters in May rejected the town and school budgets, so the Board of Finance made some reductions.

Up for consideration now is a town budget of $13.4 million, reduced by $275,000 since the last referendum, and a school budget of $25.9 million, reduced by $420,000.

Voting takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Quaker Farms School, Great Oak Road.
