The Oxford Parks and Recreation Commission will once again be hosting it’s annual Easter Egg Hunt for Oxford’s toddlers to second graders.
The hunt will be held on the Great Oak School Soccer Field on Saturday, April 16 at 1 p.m. sharp. In case of rain or snow, the event will be postponed to April 23.
If there’s a question about whether or not it’s postponed, call 888‑2543, the Parks and Recreation hotline. After the voicemail greeting answers, press four then press one to hear an announcement about the event’s status. The hotline will be updated after 10 a.m. You may also go to OxfordRec.com for updates.
Prizes will be given in different age categories. Don’t forget your camera! The Easter Bunny will arrive at 12:30 p.m. to visit with the children and give out goodies. This event is free, but we will be graciously accepting your non-perishable food donations to give to a local Food Bank. Please be generous in giving to those in need.
Please note that this is an event for Oxford residents only.
