Oxford Greens Provide Five Scholarships

OXFORD — On May 23rd at the Oxford High School awards night, The Oxford Greens Communities scholarships were presented to 5 graduating Oxford High School seniors.

$11,000.00 was collected this year and 28 applications were received for our 2019 scholarships.

A $3,500.00 scholarship was awarded to Sean Seibert. Sean will be attending either Worchester Polytechnic Institute or the University of Connecticut and majoring in Engineering

A $2,000.00 scholarship was awarded to Beth Whitehead. Beth will be attending Temple University, Fox School of Business majoring in Actuarial Science.

A $2,000.00 Scholarship was awarded to Aniela Olbrys. Aniela will be attending UCONN majoring in Business.

A $2,000.00 scholarship was awarded to Kelly Shpak. Kelly will be attending Western Connecticut State University and studying to become a mathematics teacher.

A $1,500.00 scholarship was awarded to Madison Smith. Madison will be attending the University of Rhode Island focusing on pre-vet, animal science.

Over the past ten years our Oxford Greens community has awarded $76,850.00 in scholarships to 48 Oxford High School graduating seniors going on to further their education at colleges or universities.
