Oxford Hosts Volleyball Camps

Competitive high school volleyball is a sport that is on the rise in Connecticut.

The instructors of blockheadsvolleyball.net/about have been holding clinics to help students improve their volleyball skills to help them compete at the high school level and beyond.

The instructors will use their extensive knowledge of volleyball from their years of playing at the college level and as coaches to work with the students to increase their athleticism.

The clinic will be held at Oxford High School from July 18 to July 22 in the gymnasium. There will be two sessions targeting two different age groups.

The first session will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for those students entering grades 5 – 8. The second session will follow from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for those students entering grades 9 to 12.

The cost for either session is $160 per student. Non residents add $5. You can register online by going to OxfordRec.com or you can call the Parks and Recreation office at 203 888‑2543, extension 3041.
