Oxford Library Annual Fundraiser Tickets On Sale Nov. 7

The Friends of the Library in Oxford will begin selling tickets for the Annual Holiday Fundraiser in the Oxford Library. 

Tickets will be sold from November 7th through December 16th at 9:30 a.m. and may be purchased during the library’s regular hours, Monday and Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Tickets are $2.00 each or 10 for $10.00.

There are many items to choose from, beautifully decorated trees, bountiful gift baskets, gift certificates and much more have been donated by local businesses and patrons and are available to win. Specially featured, is a fully decorated tree, donated by the Oxford Garden Club. 

Drawing will take place on December 16th at 10:00 a.m. The proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Oxford Library Building Fund and the FOLIO general fund. 

FOLIO is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to maintain an association of persons interested in the Oxford Public Library; to focus public attention on library services, facilities and needs; and to stimulate gifts, endowments and bequests to the library. 

FOLIO also provides supplementary programs, service and equipment to increase the scope and effectiveness of the Oxford Public Library and to raise funds to that end.
