Oxford Man Charged With Collecting For Charity, Pocketing The Money

A former charity telemarketer from Oxford was arrested for bilking more than 20 city residents by soliciting donations for a local charity and keeping the money, the Connecticut Post reported Wednesday.

Daniel Joseph Tichy, 34, of 61 Shelton Road, Oxford, was charged with 22 counts of criminal impersonation, two counts of second-degree larceny one count of third-degree larceny and one count of third-degree forgery.
