SEYMOUR — The operator of a motorcycle that crashed on Derby Avenue 8 p.m. Saturday has died, police said Monday.
The operator was identified as Luke Nathan, of Roosevelt Drive in Oxford. The crash remains under investigation.
Nathan died Saturday at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport, police said.
Stefani Smith, 27, of Roosevelt Drive in Oxford, was Nathan’s passenger on the bike. She suffered serious injuries but the injuries are not considered life threatening, police said.
Nathan was riding south on Derby Avenue when he crashed. Click here for a previous story. The crash happened north of Rose Street.
