The Oxford (CT) Parent Teacher Organization, Inc. is hosting an Amazing Hero Art Performance by Rob Surette.
Rob has been profiled on such programs as Good Morning America, the Today Show, and has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 2010.
Rob’s gift is the creation of paintings right in front of your eyes. But it isn’t just about a guy painting. It is really “performance painting”, as the entire show is set to music and programmed around a theme. Fine art is created right before your eyes. A serious Disney art collector recently bought print number one of a Mickey Mouse masterpiece for $25,000.
Many thanks to our title sponsor of the event, Newtown Saving Bank, and our supporting sponsor, Market 32, in Oxford. The event will take place from 7pm – 9pm on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Oxford High School in Oxford, Connecticut.
Rob is a Top-Tier Master Fine Artist for Disney, DC Comics, DreamWorks, and the Muppets. He will be creating two pieces of fine art this evening, one limited edition themed Mickey Mouse painting and one limited edition themed Star Wars painting. One of the paintings will be raffled off that evening. Take part in the raffle for your chance to win a piece of fine art. This would make an amazing gift for a Disney or Star Wars fan. The other piece of fine art will be auctioned off on March 25, 2017 at the Oxford PTO auction.
Get your tickets now before the event is sold out. This is a show not to miss. Ticket prices are $12 for adults, $10 for students and $10 for seniors. Additional event information can be found on the Oxford PTO website – www.OxfordPTO.com.
