Oxford’s has started a program, “Oxford Has Jobs Available,” to list job openings and descriptions with companies currently doing business in town.
The Economic Development Commission (EDC) has established the new program on the Town’s website. Click here to go to the site.
New listings must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Mondays and additions and deletions to the site must be approved by the Economic Development Director Andrew McGeever on Tuesday morning.
The website will be updated for the coming week and a printout of the available jobs will also be on displayed in the lobby of Town Hall.
Updates and deletions should be submitted on Mondays only to the Economic Development office in Town Hall.
The employer can either e‑mail the Economic Development Director at Andrew.mcgeever@oxford-ct.gov or call him @ 203 – 828-7541 or stop by Town Hall, 486 Oxford Road.
The site is being established so that qualified job seekers from Oxford and the surrounding area can take advantage of job available in the Town.
The EDC believes this website will be a tremendous help in finding qualified employees for jobs that are available in Oxford.
The EDC and the EDD will keep both employers and job seekers aware of any state or local job benefit programs that may become available.
