Oxford voters will decide on a $40.1 million spending plan Tuesday.
Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The polling place is Quaker Farms School, 30 Great Oak Road.
The budget represents a tax increase of 2.78 mills, but taxes are not guaranteed to increase across the board. That is because Oxford went through a revaluation in the fall.
However, it can be said that if your property was assessed at $250,000, and your home did not lose value in the reevaluation, you will pay an additional $695 a year in taxes.
The town side of the budget is $13.7 million, a 3.7 percent increase. The bottom line for the Board of Education is $26.3 million, a 3.7 percent increase.
