Police Thursday charged a 52 year-old Oxford woman with stealing, forging and cashing a $2,500 check.
Jodi Churchill is charged with third-degree larceny and third-degree forgery.
According to police, on July 27, an Oxford resident told police that one of her checks was stolen sometime around July 20.
An investigation resulted in a warrant for Churchill’s arrest, police said.
She surrendered to police Aug. 6 after learning about the warrant.
She posted a $3,000 bond and is due in court Aug. 17.
