There is a movement underway to restore the Civil War Monument on the Derby Green.
The Paugassett Hook & Ladder Co. #4 of the Derby Fire Department recently donated proceeds of their recent boot drive toward James Cohen’s restoration project.
A long time member of the company, James Butler, presented Cohen a check at the fire company’s annual Fireman’s Sunday Communion breakfast on June 12.
