ANSONIA — The city did not hold a traditional Memorial Day Parade this year, but American Legion Post 50 of Ansonia hosted a Flag Walk this year to honor our war on Sunday. Schools, organizations, businesses, veterans, and members of the public were invited to walk.

Reminder: the Derby-Shelton Memorial Day Parade is scheduled to start Monday, May 31 at 9 a.m., beginning at Howe and Wharf streets in Shelton and ending at Cottage and Elizabeth streets in Derby. It will be held rain or shine.
