Seymour and Oxford High Schools teamed up Friday (May 3) for their ninth annual joint Take a Stand Day!” which took place at Oxford High School.

The event focused on the responsibilities of safe driving, distracted driving and the consequences of mixing driving with alcohol and distractions.

Throughout the day teens from both high schools moved through different events, assemblies, and outside hands-on activities

They also witnessed several mock mass casualty multi-vehicle motor vehicle crashes/extrications with the participation of Life Star helicopter to solidify the message that drinking and driving do not mix.
