The Great Give is May 4 & May 5!
The Great Give is a 36-hour online fundraiser for hundreds of nonprofit groups in the Valley and greater New Haven.
It starts at 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, and is scheduled to end 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 5.
The Valley Indy uses The Great Give as its annual reader drive. The goal is to raise $10,000 in 36 hours. Please consider donating by visiting Donate.ValleyIndy.org.
Advance giving starts Friday, April 23, which is very cool, so you can support The Valley Indy right now!
Each year during The Great Give, The Valley Indy livestreams a series of interviews on Valley Indy Facebook featuring Great Give nonprofit groups, local leaders, and longtime local news supporters from the Valley.
This year’s Valley Indy Great Give Livestream will start at 8 a.m. May 4 on Valley Indy Facebook. Keep an eye out for the schedule. Some donors will have chances to win gift certificates from restaurants in Ansonia, Derby & Seymour.

This year’s Great Give is especially important because the COVID-19 pandemic had a terrible economic impact on many Valley nonprofits whose specific mission is to help the most vulnerable people and families in our community.
