The following is from a press release issued Monday by Griffin Health.
WHAT: Griffin Health is scheduled to host free, walk-up community COVID-19 vaccination clinics this week:
Tuesday, May 25: from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Nolan Field in Ansonia
Wednesday, May 26: from 8 a.m.to 1 p.m. at The Boys and Girls Club, 28 Howard Street in Ansonia
Friday, May 28: from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at Abundant Life Church, 195 North Main St., Ansonia.
These clinics aim to improve access to these lifesaving vaccines and encourage individuals to protect themselves, their loved ones and their community by getting vaccinated for COVID-19. Vaccination is open to everyone ages 12 and older. Youth must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian.
No appointment needed. Insurance information will be collected at registration, but insurance coverage is not required. Those being vaccinated will incur no out of pocket cost.
