Shelton police are investigating the death of a baby within a residence on Division Avenue.
In a prepared statement, police said officers received a 911 call at 2:30 a.m. Monday (June 12) reporting a 4‑month-old baby was not breathing.
Police and EMS responded to the residence.
The baby was brought to the hospital, but was pronounced dead, police said.
Police released no further info other than they are actively investigating the incident.
