Ansonia police are trying to find a 19-year-old male who has been reported missing.
The male is identified as Sylvester Waiters, 19, of 48 Francis St.
Waiters was last seen by his mother on March 19 at approximately 12:30 p.m.
The two had an argument while in Stratford, police said.
His mother talked to him at 2 p.m. March 19 by phone.
“Waiters made mention that he wanted his problems to end and she then she lost contact with him,” according to a press release from Ansonia police.
“Officers have been trying to make phone contact with Waiters without any success. GPS tracking of his telephone showed him in the Ansonia area and the Bridgeport area throughout the day,” the statement reads. “There has been no contact with Waiters.”
Waiters was last seen wearing a red, white, and blue shirt, white baseball cap and blue jeans.
He is a black male and is 5 feet, 4 inches tall. He weights 125 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
Ansonia Police are looking for assistance in locating Waiters to make sure he is safe and is not a danger to himself.
