The December robbery of the Bridgeport Dunkin Donuts at knife point was an inside job, police said Wednesday.
Jessica Fabrizi, 23, of Stratford, was charged with first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, Detective Ben Trabka said.
Fabrizi, a Dunkin Donuts employee, told three robbers when to enter the store in the Woodside Shopping Plaza, among other information, Trabka said.
Fabrizi is the fourth and final suspect in the case, police said.
Danielle McDaniel, 24, of Derby, Mary Rogers, of Milford and Jonathan Rodriguez, of Monroe, were all arrested earlier this month in connection to the Dec. 13 robbery.
Police said McDaniel, wearing a mask, walked into the store at about 5:30 p.m., pulled out a 10-inch butcher knife and emptied about $400 from the registers.
No one was injured.
Police believe drugs — specifically the desire for cocaine and heroin — fueled the crime.
Fabrizi was arrested in a Middletown drug rehab.
McDaniel is charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery. Rogers and Rodriguez were charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
Police were able to develop the group as suspects because they talked about the crime, Trabka said.
“There was a lot of bragging,” he said.
Fabrizi was being held Wednesday on a $100,000 bond pending a Thursday arraignment.
