Poll: What Do You Want At Olson Drive

The Ansonia Housing Authority voted Wednesday to spend up to $471,630.10 to raze five buildings at the Riverside apartments, 31 – 105 Olson Drive.

One those buildings are gone, four will remain. Plans are being formulated to eventually take those down, too.

The City of Ansonia, through language in a referendum, wants to see the land preserved as open space. The federal Department of Housing and Urban Development is pushing the city to redevelop the land into housing with a mix of people with different incomes.
