A benefit dinner for Project Purple, a non-profit organization that helps spread awareness about pancreatic cancer and raises funds to help find a cure, raised more than $4,000 Monday at Antonio’s Restaurant on Main Street in downtown Ansonia.
Tickets were $40 each and included food, beer and wine. About 75 people attended.
All proceeds will assist Project Purple, based in Beacon Falls, in its crusade to help find a cure for pancreatic cancer.
