Residents, business owners and other interested individuals are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to discuss streetscape improvements currently in-design along State Street from Route 115 to Pleasant Street in the City of Ansonia.
The City of Ansonia has initiated this project in partnership with the Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (NVCOG) and the Connecticut Department of Transportation as part of the Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program (LOTCIP).
The project includes removal and replacement of existing roadway pavement, the installation of bike/pedestrian accommodations including sidewalk ramps, concrete sidewalks, and curb extensions, removal of existing hardscape for new landscaped areas, and installation of new decorative lighting.
