DERBY — The Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (NVCOG) will hold a public information meeting for the O’Sullivan’s Island Fishing Pier project on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 5:30 p.m. in the Aldermanic Chamber at Derby City Hall (1 Elizabeth St.).
The project involves the construction of an accessible observation platform and fishing pier extending into the Housatonic River. A guided tour of the site will be offered following the meeting, weather permitting. The meeting and presentation will also be accessible via Zoom at https://tinyurl.com/osullivansisland.
