Attention Shelton residents:

The Shelton Parks and Recreation Department is offering puppy training classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 pm. The program begins on June 14, 2016 and will run for four weeks at the Riverwalk Park.

Trainer Lina Sirico will head the program which is geared towards puppies age 8 to 16 weeks old. Goals are house training, reduce unnecessary chewing, obey simple commands, and on leash social interaction with other puppies.

Handlers should bring pick up bags for needed cleanups. The cost of the program is $110. Space is limited so those interested must pre-register at the Shelton Community Center, 41 Church St.
