St. Mary St. Michael To Recognize Alumni

St. Mary-St. Michael Elementary School will honor alumni and friends of the school March 26 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the University Commons on the campus of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. 

Richard Dick” Carloni and Estelle D’Alessio will be the recipients of the Guardian Angel Award given to individuals who have made an impact through service in their community, or for other humanitarian efforts that reflect the mission of the school. 

Nick DeFelice and Henry Jemioto will receive the Spirit of St. Mary-St. Michael School Award given to alumni who have made a significant positive impact in their field or profession, in the community in which they reside. 

Virginia Costigan will receive the Christian Compassion Award given to individuals who have served the community and school in countless ways, embodying the spirit of generosity, kindness and goodwill. 

The event will feature plate stations with four gourmet selections on the menu, wine and beverages, the award presentations, and other surprises. 

A keepsake program book is being produced and advertisements, congratulatory and in memoriam messages are available by contacting the school office.

St. Mary-St. Michael School was created in 1988 when St. Mary School (est. 1898) and St. Michael School (est. 1915) merged to form one school.
