SHELTON – The Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley’s summer camp registration opens on April 1 for its clubhouse located in Ansonia. Membership is open to all children ages 5 – 15. Registration is first-come, first-serve for all 9 weeks of camp, and children may attend as few or as many weeks as they like. Camp starts on June 12 and closes on August 11.
The camp is open from 7:30 am – 6 pm, Monday-Friday. Cost is $165 per week for 5 year olds through 2nd grade, $150 per week for children in agred 3 – 8, $25 per week for members in grades 9 – 12, and $100 per week for siblings.
Children will participate in a variety of activities throughout the day, including arts and crafts, outdoor activity — including our Splash Pad located at the Shelton club — indoor exercise, movies, and educational activities. Each week will feature a special theme. Camp is certified by the State of Connecticut, and our staff are certified in first aid and CPR.
