DERBY-SHELTON — The following information was shared by the Derby-Shelton Parade & Memorial Service Committee.
This year’s annual and official Derby-Shelton Memorial Day Parade is canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The annual memorial service, during which the names of recently deceased military members are read in public, is also canceled.
The committee provided local media with the names of U.S. military veterans who have passed away in the past year (as of May 15, 2020).
