Ansonia Seymour Oxford Rotary Club (newly merged Ansonia Rotary Club and Seymour Oxford Rotary Club) will welcome James Prestiano and Remy Kocurek, Director of St. Vincent de Paul of the Valley Thrift Shoppe & Food Bank, that serves Ansonia, Derby, Shelton, Seymour and Oxford.
Remy will discuss how 2022 has been the busiest year in the last 40 years of operations. The thrift shop has the dual role of being an incredibly affordable place for their pantry recipients to acquire clothing and other items for their family while also providing some support for the pantry. It has also grown into a thrifter’s paradise as stock is interesting and always changing based on the generously donated items.
