Renovations Begin At Shelton Library

The next time you visit the Plumb Memorial Public Library on 65 Wooster St. in Shelton, you will notice some big changes taking place.

The first phase of a library renovation is beginning in late August in the Main Meeting Room on the bottom level of the library. The Meeting Room will be renovated and updated from the ceiling to the floor and new technology will be installed as well.

Because of the renovation of the Meeting Room, the Friends of the Shelton Library will be postponing their semi-annual book sale until the spring. No donations will be accepted due to lack of space through the end of the year, but a listing of organizations that will take donation is available at the library.

Either stop at the Adult Circulation Desk or call the library at (203) 924‑1580.
