Report: Derby Superintendent Considered For Torrington Job

Derby Superintendent Stephen Tracy is being considered for an interim superintendent’s job in Torrington, the Register Citizen reported Monday.

The board is looking to find a temporary replacement for Superintendent Christopher Leone, whose last day is August 12. The board meeting is at 6 p.m. at the Board of Education office,” the Register Citizen reported.

From outside the district, the board has interviewed Timothy James, currently serving as superintendent in Orange, Connecticut; Derby Superintendent Stephen Tracy; and Christopher Eichner, a Thompson, Connecticut resident and educator.”
