UPDATE: RESIDENCE INN ROBBED IN SHELTON

Police released this sketch of a suspect they say robbed a Residence Inn Friday at gunpoint. 

Police are looking for a hunched-over, beer-bellied man with a deep voice.

Authorities received a 911 call at 6:39 p.m. from the 1001 Bridgeport Ave. hotel.

A lone black male entered the lobby, displayed a firearm and demanded money from the clerk,” according to a statement from police.

The suspect ran away. Police did not say how much money he stole.

Police described the suspect as a heavy-set black man, mid-to-late 40s, with close-cut, curly black hair and a mustache.

The suspect is reported to have a large guy and walked hunched over. The suspect also has a deep voice,” police said in a statement.
