The AnSeOx Rotary awarded annual scholarships to three area students at their bi-monthly meetings in June.
Devin Cronin of Seymour, Tyler Lang also of Seymour, and David Cassetti Jr. of Ansonia were the recipients. Ms. Cronin will attend UCONN in the fall; Mr. Lang will attend Quinnipiac University; and Mr. Cassetti will attend the University of New Haven, where he will also continue his football career.
Recipients and their parents were dinner guests of the Club at Rose’s Family Restaurant. Each recipient described the person they admired the most, and their narratives were inspiring and reflected their values.
The AnSeOx Rotary Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday each month at Rose’s Family Restaurant in Oxford at 5:00 PM. Guests are welcomed and encouraged to join the members without obligation.
