Work will continue as follows:
- Signage continues to be posted on the jobsite.
- Saw-cutting will continue, and concrete pavement repair activities will continue, from Exit 15 to 22 northbound.
- NOTE: No work will be conducted on the project from 6: 00 AM on Wednesday, July 3 to 6:00 AM on July 5 over the July 4 Holiday.
Other work continuing throughout the project:
- Illumination work on along Route 8 southbound from Exit 17 to 12 and Northbound from Exit 22 Off-ramp to 22 On-ramp.
Future Activities:
Beginning in August 2024, night work milling, surveying, and paving will begin again both north and south bound, in one-mile segments, with new pavement installed within two days.
This work began from the Exit 15 on-ramp and will continue northbound through Exit 22/23. Southbound work will then begin, starting from Exit 22/23 and continuing to the Exit 15 southbound off-ramp.
