ANSONIA – Traveler On A Mission (TOAM) is honored to be named an official charity partner for the 2025 Eversource Hartford Marathon, taking place on Saturday, October 11, 2025. TOAM is proud to represent the Lower Naugatuck Valley as the only nonprofit from the region selected for this prestigious partnership.
“This is more than a race, it’s a chance to uplift lives,” said Tanaya Henry, Founder of Traveler On A Mission. “Every step taken and every dollar raised helps improve the health and dignity of our neighbors in need.”
How to Support TOAM:

Runners/ walkers can choose from the Marathon, Half Marathon, Team 26.2 Relay, Charity 5K, or Wheelchair Athlete categories. A $500 fundraising commitment is required, which includes your race registration fee and exclusive TOAM race day swag.

Join us in Hartford to help support the event! Roles are assigned by the Hartford Marathon Foundation — no fundraising required.
Proceeds will support:
- Personal care products are distributed to low-income families.
- Youth Hygiene Workshops across Connecticut
- Seasonal outreach like Christmas in July and Holiday Stocking Stuffers
- Hygiene products for foster youth attending college ensure they start the semester prepared and confident.
