Whaddya mean, ‘second vote?’
Voters rejected both budgets May 1. That budget would have added 1.15 mills to the mill rate. The school budget request was roughly $31.8 million and the town request was $22.8 million during the first vote. Voters are now looking at a spending plan roughly $410,000 smaller than the failed May 1 budget.
