SEYMOUR — Firefighters rescued a pooch who was stuck under a porch late Wednesday.
According to a Facebook post from the Great Hill Hose Co., firefighters were sent to a property on Botsford Road at about 11 p.m.
“Upon arrival, it was found that a small dog had gotten stuck under the front porch,” according to the post.
Firefighters carefully dug around the porch for about 30 minutes to free the dog, who was wearing a leash, and then reunited the animal with its owner.
