Seymour Fire Company Celebration Continues Saturday

The Seymour Fire Department Citizens Engine Co. will continue its 125th anniversary celebration with a block party at the fire house Saturday.

The party will run from 1 – 10 p.m. at 26 DeForest St. in Seymour. There will be entertainment, food, a moon bounce and dunk tank.

The fire company also held a carnival earlier this summer.

Seymour Fire Chief Scott Andrews, who is chairman of the department’s 125th anniversary committee, said the volunteers have worked since 2007 to get everything together for these celebrations.
