Seymour Founder’s Day Seeks Vendors

It is with great pride that we announce the second Seymour Founder’s Day” celebration to be held on Sunday, June 5, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a rain date of Sunday June 12, 2011.

It is a day to celebrate our communities past and present. This day will be filled with history, entertainment and fun!

Our entire downtown main street area will be closed to traffic and filled with vendors, food booths, a car and motorcycle show, children’s activities and entertainment while area shops and restaurants will be open for business. Last year with over 15,000 visitors, this year will be bigger and better.

Proceeds from the day’s events will be donated to the Seymour-Oxford Food Bank and SFDA Scholarship Fund.

Seymour Founder’s Day will be a great event to reach thousands of people with your products or services. Be part of our Humphreyville Market Place and sell your antiques, collectables, jewelry and/or crafts. With all the activities planned for the day our visitors are sure to get hungry and thirsty.

Whether you’re a professional food vendor or just trying to raise money for your organization it is a great opportunity for all. In addition, we have corporate informational booths for businesses and organizations who want to market their company or group to Southern Connecticut.
